Founded by a pet lover

Our company was founded by nurse-by-profession but pet-lover-by-heart John Lance Bazar. He had to trade his watch for a female beagle which eventually gave birth, introducing him to the pet breeding business in 2006. More dogs with 12 different breeds were eventually added to their home kennel!

 

Ignited by ingenuity and persistence

With the number of dogs in their house, problems such as tick infestation, viral/bacterial infections, skin diseases, nutritional imbalances, and even odor problems emerged. These circumstances brought our founder to study and discover products that will help eliminate these inevitable concerns. With the help of his friends, Lance formulated the Tick Buster treatment spray. After trying it on his dogs and finding it to be highly effective, he started marketing the product online. Tick Buster began to take off as dog owners attested to the product's efficacy. Soon, Lance formulated a shampoo for dogs and cats with different variants. With a glimpse of success, he registered the business in 2014 as Tick Buster Pet Supplies. He continued to sell the products he manufactured at home, delivering it himself through public transportation. In 2016, Lance with his newly wedded wife Daisy moved the business from Calamba to Caloocan City where they were able to lease a warehouse by 2018. From backyard manufacturing, the company evolved to have a manufacturing plant compliant with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations. Several departments headed by professionals were established as well to improve the company's organizational effectiveness and business operations.

 

Sustained by faithful diligence

With the business' continuing growth, the company’s name was changed to Main Source Manufacturing and Trading Corp. in 2021 in acknowledgment of Jesus as the Source of all things. The company now has more than 50 employees, providing jobs to people in the community. From the leased warehouse, the company moved to its very own in 2022. To this day, Lance remains passionate about developing effective products affordable to every dog and cat lover. And yes, the products sold by the company are still used by his pets for whom the search for the best pet care ingredients began!
